- “My ears! Hurty-hurt! Too much talk! Not enough results!”
- —Big Top, Mario Party 8
Big Top is MC Ballyhoo's hat, and serves as his co-host in the Wii game Mario Party 8. He also holds all of the coins for Chump Charity, stating that he was glad to get the load off of his head. Big Top not only has the ability of speech, but is also his own separate entity. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he shares a trophy with Ballyhoo. Big Top's name comes from a phrase referring to large circus tents. The "Top" part of his name is also a reference to the fact that he is a top hat.
Big Top is a dark blue top hat with a strip of light blue close to the rim. He has a small mouth, and two differently colored eyes; one teal, one pink. His eyes have rather big eyelashes.
