[[User:SuperStringMuon|SuperStringMuon]] ([[User talk:SuperStringMuon|talk]])Hello! This is my talk page!

Welcome to the wiki! Regarding your edits, a number of them have gone against some of the points outlined in our [[MarioWiki:Manual of Style|Manual of Style]]:
== Super Mario Maker Deluxe ==
*Avoid using the word "you" on articles. Instead, we use "the player" or the character's name.
What are your ideas for a new Super Mario Maker Switch? I want [[Pokeys]], [[Big Bertha]], and [[Koopalings]].
*All game titles like ''[[Super Mario Maker]]'' must be ''italicised''. You do that just by placing two apostrophes before and after the name (e.g. <code><nowiki>''[[Super Mario Maker]]''</nowiki></code>).
*When linking, please make sure that they work before [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Bob-omb&diff=prev&oldid=2413615 leaving them] and that they link to the exact title. For plural links, the "s" should simply go after the brackets, so you type <code><nowiki>[[? Block]]s</nowiki></code> instead of <code><nowiki>[[? Blocks]]</nowiki></code>. For cases like "[[Spiny|Spinies]]", you type <code><nowiki>[[Spiny|Spinies]]</nowiki></code>. You can always click the "Show preview" button next to "'''Save page'''" to see what your edits look like before saving them.
Please be sure to give the Manual of Style a read. For more information on editing, you can check out [[Help:Contents]]. Thanks and keep contributing. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 19:54, 22 March 2018 (EDT)

==Italics==
Only titles of games (and some other media) need italics, there's no need to italicize things like character names. [[User:Doc von Schmeltwick|Doc von Schmeltwick]] ([[User talk:Doc von Schmeltwick|talk]]) 13:20, 28 March 2018 (EDT)

== Tiki Tong Tower ==

{{delete-reason|Tiki Tong Tower}}
Played the game and read the [[Volcano]] article, there is no [[Tiki Tong Tower]] level. Additionally, the amount of information you created the page with would make it a stub, so for your next page creations, please try to add more information (such as a source for the name). {{User:Alex95/sig}} 15:09, 28 March 2018 (EDT)

[[User:SuperStringMuon|SuperStringMuon]] ([[User talk:SuperStringMuon|talk]]) Hey Alex, I am not refferring to the level itself. Rather, I am referring to the big tower visible from all perspectives on the world selection screena nd the one that rises during the beginning cutscene. There are many references to Tiki Tong Tower as well.
:Does the tower actually have a name in game? And it really just looks like the Volcano with Tiki Tong's head on it.
:Also, [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=World_7_(New_Super_Mario_Bros._Wii)&curid=84337&diff=2416489&oldid=2416486 don't ask for help in articles]. That's what the talk page is for. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 15:14, 28 March 2018 (EDT)
::[[List of extras in Donkey Kong Country Returns]] (Boss Gallery right above Tiki Tong). This is where the name can be found. {{User:Yoshi the Space Station Manager/sig}} 15:25, 28 March 2018 (EDT)
:::Ah, that will work. Article is still a new stub, so it will still get deleted anyway unless more info is added. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 15:27, 28 March 2018 (EDT)
[[User:SuperStringMuon|SuperStringMuon]] ([[User talk:SuperStringMuon|talk]]) Alex, I'm sorry, but it does have a name. It's even on the Donkey Kong Wiki!!! It says quote-for-quote: "The Tiki Tong Tower is the Tiki Tak Tribe's base of operations." But I do understand it was a stub. I'll try to make it less of a stub next time. Google Tiki Tong Tower and it gives you the Donkey Kong Wiki Result. K?
:We also don't cover the users of the community. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 15:46, 28 March 2018 (EDT)

[[User:SuperStringMuon|SuperStringMuon]] ([[User talk:SuperStringMuon|talk]]) What does that mean?!
:It means articles like Psycrow are unacceptable. They have no meaning in the ''Mario'' games. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 15:50, 28 March 2018 (EDT)

[[User:SuperStringMuon|SuperStringMuon]] ([[User talk:SuperStringMuon|talk]]) Okey-dokey. Take it down. I thought so... Just testing the site. Wow, you're fast!
:Take some time to go over [[Help:Contents]]. It'll help you learn what we do and don't cover and shows how a proper article is structured. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 15:52, 28 March 2018 (EDT)

== References ==

Instead of [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Super_Mario_Maker&diff=prev&oldid=2416425 adding] your sources as part of the information, please cite them as [[MarioWiki:Citations|references]] instead. To do this for a YouTube video, you add this at the end:

<pre><ref>Uploader. (Upload date). [URL Video title]. ''Website''. Retrieved (date of when you're adding this).</ref></pre>

As an example, for the E3 2015 trailer for ''Super Mario Maker'', you add:

<pre><ref>Nintendo. (June 16, 2015). [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwO09vJAPDs Wii U - Super Mario Maker E3 2015 Trailer]. ''YouTube''. Retrieved March 29, 2018.</ref></pre>

Please also remember to write in third-person perspective as I mentioned above. Thanks. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 02:21, 29 March 2018 (EDT)
