The Nintendo Arcade was a dedicated web page on Nintendo's official site that hosted various simple Flash-powered games, meant to advertise other games released on consoles. These Flash games were also playable on their promoted game sites, which were listed in a different section of Nintendo Arcade. A number of these games were related to the Mario franchise and its spin-offs.
