A Yellow Egg is a yellow Yoshi Egg first found in Super Mario World. The egg hatches into a Baby Yellow Yoshi. Yellow Eggs also play an important role in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. If a Green Egg had recoiled once off a wall, it would turn into a Yellow Egg. Yellow Eggs could also be obtained from yellow Egg Blocks, though unlike the green Egg Block, a Yoshi only got one egg. When Yellow Eggs hit an enemy, two Coins would appear.
