A Borp is a purple bush-like enemy with pale yellow star-shaped flowers on its body that has only appeared in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. They are only encountered at Cavi Cape. Bowser can punch them for extra coins, but Mario and Luigi have to fight them. In battle, Borps attack by spitting out yellow blobs at the Mario Bros. However, the target of the attack is the opposite brother of the one who was initially telegraphed (for example: an attack telegraphed to Luigi will instead go to Mario.) Their attacks can't be countered by jumping and will hurt Mario and Luigi if they do so. The Borp's attacks are also capable of lowering their power if their attacks hit the Mario Brothers. These enemies are usually encountered in a group consisting of three or four Borps.
