Fake is a move used in Super Mario Strikers and Mario Strikers Charged. While the player has the ball, and the opponent is coming to steal the ball, the player can press the "Y" button or tilt the "C" stick to for the Fake Move. The Fake Move is used to avoid your opponent's tackle. If the player has right timing, the player will successfully dodge the opponent's tackle.
Captain's Fakes
- Mario – Leap's forward in the direction he's facing.
- Luigi – Leap's forward in the direction he's facing.
- Princess Peach – Jumps in the air with the ball in the direction she's facing.
- Princess Daisy – Disappears and reappears in the direction she's facing.
