Mini-Ravens are small Ravens in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They are rare and only appear in a few levels.
Strangely, when Yoshi would suck them up, they would automatically be digested, and no eggs came out of them. Like their larger cousins, Mini-Ravens can climb walls and ceilings.
Mini-Ravens may be baby versions of Ravens. They also didn't appear in the sequel or any other Yoshi game. However, Super Princess Peach's standard Ravens were extremely similar to Mini-Ravens, being small, easy-to-defeat, and giving no Vibe energy if attempted to be absorbed (in a similar manner to how Yoshi could not produce eggs upon eating Mini-Ravens). If these Vibe Island Ravens are to be thought of as Mini-Ravens, then Sad Ravens can be considered a Mini-Raven sub-species.
