::It's not an elegant solution, but fringe cases like the Hammer Bro captain could be left in this generic Captain category, with sports captains and naval captains being subcategories of this one. Something similar is done for :Categroy:Royalty. Kings, queens, princes, and princesses are split into subcategories, but for characters who are some sort of royalty but don't fit into the subcategories, like Sultan Pasbah or the Duke of Alencon, they can stay in the main category. 15:47, 5 July 2017 (EDT)

It's not an elegant solution, but fringe cases like the Hammer Bro captain could be left in this generic Captain category, with sports captains and naval captains being subcategories of this one. Something similar is done for Category:Royalty. Kings, queens, princes, and princesses are split into subcategories, but for characters who are some sort of royalty but don't fit into the subcategories, like Sultan Pasbah or the Duke of Alencon, they can stay in the main category.
