History

Donkey Kong Country Returns / 3D

Tiki Goons are introduced in Jungle Hijinxs, a level in the Jungle area, and continue to appear commonly throughout the course of the game. Much like Kritters, Klomps and Kobbles from past Donkey Kong Country games, Tiki Goons only attack by moving to the sides at a slow pace. If the Kongs simply bump into one, they lose one heart from their health meter. However, Tiki Goons can be defeated with a roll, a jump, a barrel, or with Rambi.

Tiki Goons make another appearance in Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart 8, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as obstacles in DK Jungle. Their behavior from their previous appearance is displayed yet again, simply roaming accross the road in an attempt to hinder the racers. Should a racer crash into a Tiki Goon, they spin out and lose three coins. By beating the Staff Ghost of DK Jungle in Mario Kart 8, the player unlocks a Tiki Goon stamp.
