Chain Saw

Template:Minigame-infobox Chain Saw is a duel minigame found in Mario Party Advance. The name of the minigame is a pun on "chainsaw," a portable, electric or gas-powered saw used primarily for chopping trees.

In Shroom City, Chain Saw is played when the player arrives at the location of Chain Chomp. If the player wins, they win this minigame to play in Play Land.

Gameplay

In this minigame, two players attempt to saw the chains suspending two Thwomps above their opponent's head by quickly alternating between the and . If one of the players saws the chain too fast, they are forced to stop and rest; players can see how fast they are sawing by the amount of sweat drops that appear behind the character's head. The player that saws through the chain first causes the Thwomp to fall onto their opponent, winning the minigame.
