Cake Mix is an item found in the Paper Mario series that heals one HP and one FP. In the Shy Guy's Toy Box, Cake Mix can be found being held by a few Shy Guy's in the Shy Guy's Playground. Cake Mix can bought at the Pianta Parlor in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for six piantas (or eighteen coins).

Mario can take it to Tayce T. so she can cook it to make a Cake, which heals five HP and fifteen FP. When Cake Mix is cooked with other items, the resulting product can have amazing attributes. Although unhelpful in battle, it is needed in many recipes.

Many recipes include it, and most items have a combination involving Cake Mix. These include:

• Honey Syrup = Honey Candy
• Maple Syrup = Kooky Cookie (Paper Mario 1 only)

• Jammin' Jelly = Jelly Pop (Paper Mario 1 only)
