Mark is a character appearing in three sports games: NES Open Tournament Golf, the Game Boy Color version of Mario Tennis, and Mario Tennis: Power Tour.
In NES Open Tournament Golf, he is a young kid who wears a blue baseball uniform and a matching blue hat. The back of his shirt has a large "1". Mark is depicted with black hair and blue eyes. He is an amateur ranked golfer who can be challenged in match play.
In Mario Tennis, Mark was given a significant redesign. His hair is now a deep shade of red, and he now wears red colored tennis gear and purple sneakers. He is on the varsity team. In doubles, the player has to face him and Bob to get in the Island Open. Once beaten, he can be used as an All-Around character.
In Mario Tennis: Power Tour, he is the coach of the Junior class at the Royal Tennis Academy. His design is nearly the same as his Mario Tennis appearance.
