I feel this would work better as a section on the Doki Doki Panic page. Like, there's too many degrees of separation here: first you got SMB2, then a page on the non-Mario game it is a spriteswap of (sure, make senses), and then you have a page on an event which has no link to the Mario franchise or Nintendo beside Nintendo making a game loosely based on it.
