The mode has 8 courses split evenly into 2 worlds. We can make You vs. Boo its own article to show off those courses. And make articles for them! {{User:Technology Toad|Technology Toad}}

This is a featured article!

It represents the best of the best that the Super Mario Wiki has produced. If there are any edits that will improve the article's quality even further, make them.

"Unfortunately, this is an old game, so the chance of losing the game memory battery is mid to high." Could someone explain to me what this actually means? --Someone Else 22:20, 13 November 2007 (EST)

I have no clue. The sentence was poorly-written anyway, so I removed it. — Stooben Rooben 15:15, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
I was just looking at this page a minute ago. I think what it means is that the game has a medium to high chance of losing it's saved data. Either way, it doesn't really sound secure enough to put in the article. ~DarkZero DarkZero Sig.gif 15:23, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
That's possible. Although, that never happened to me when I owned it, it doesn't mean it hasn't happened. — Stooben Rooben 15:32, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
It happened to me, and I can't play it anymore because of it. If I can find enough proof to support that post, it might make a place in the article. ~DarkZero DarkZero Sig.gif 15:35, 7 May 2008 (EDT)
Sounds good. Just be sure to check the citation policy for instructions. — Stooben Rooben 15:38, 7 May 2008 (EDT)

Why?

Is this allowed and Article, and The Super Mario Advance Games and Donkey Kong Country remakes arn't???- User:Zedxclon

Image Overload

Something should be done about those images. Most of the article is made-up of nothing more than images associated with the game, leading to essentially a list-article. They either need to be closed-unless-opened, or have their sections provide at least some summary of what they are to allow for some "breathing space". The article also seems to be short on information, as most of the sections are rather short and written almost as if they came directly from the back of the box. I've taken the liberty of re-writing some of the sections and correcting the plethora of typos, but until this article is filled out more appropriately I really don't see how it qualifies as Featured. Redstar 06:15, 28 November 2009 (EST)

I re-named the section "You vs. Boo" to "Player vs. Boo" (avoid direct acknowledgment), but for some reason the Content box still has the old title. Redstar 08:11, 28 November 2009 (EST)

Uh, isn't "You vs. Boo" simply the title of the game mode? If so, it shouldn't be changed. Time Questions 08:30, 28 November 2009 (EST)
If that's true, change it back. Redstar 08:31, 28 November 2009 (EST)

N64 affiliation

Can someone please tell me the affiliation there is with this game and the N64? SMB Deluxe is on gameboy color, but there is several references to the N64, like the unlockable artwork. And even the official Prima game guide also has an N64 symbol on it, rather than Gameboy Color symbol (see this image) Does anyone know why this is? Is it just because the N64 was around at the same time when this game was released?

In regards to the Prima guide image, that's probably an error. Overall, mention of the N64 should be placed in the trivia section, but the N64 symbol on the strategy guide should be noted as an error rather than a reference. BNK [E|T|C] 10:46, 10 December 2012 (EST)

Okay, it just seemed out of place to me. I will mention it on the article, thanks for the reply.

Glitch

File:SMBDX glitch.PNG To do this glitch, you shoot a fireball, during the animation you pause, and this happens on the file select. EDIT:This also happens. File:SMBDX glitch 2.PNG --Mariofan5000 (talk) 16:25, 18 July 2013 (EDT)

Should this be added to the article?

Japan and UK 3DS owners that make an NNID will supposedly get a download code for this game next year. It's a limited time offer. I don't remember the dates off the top of my head but I was wondering if this information should be added. Agentdave7's Mii.Agentdave7 (talk) 18:45, 20 December 2013 (EST)

You VS. Boo

I think You VS. Boo should have a separate page that goes into more depth what the mode is about. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 17:41, 8 January 2016 (EST)
