Megabites are strange, evil skulls in the game Super Paper Mario. They swoop down from the sky at the heroes, dealing 1 damage with each hit. No matter how high the heroes' attack power is, they will only take 1 damage per hit. With 4 HP, it will take four hits to defeat.
What causes their appearance is unknown. Generally, it is believed they appear when the heroes take too long in a single area in any given level. However, in both Pits Of 100 Trials, they appear immediately upon entrance to the floors they appear on.
Interestingly, the ghostly purple tail they have waves up and down while they are flying, possibly indicating they are vengeful spirits of some kind of fish.
