Rocket Start
Support
- AfternoonLight (talk) This article has everything and I like it the way it is so, I want it to be featured
- Wildgoosespeeder (talk)
Oppose
- Time Turner (talk) It's messily organized and rather short. The article also covers several different topics that are loosely connected, so that could be sorted out first.
- Boo4761 (talk) This is too short to be featured, plus it's messy. Per Time Turner.
- Baby Luigi (talk) I don't think this article is worthy enough to represent the best of MarioWiki. The presentation is mostly bleh and most of the article, as Time Turner as stated, is just elements from other game series loosely strung up to make it look long enough to be featured.
- LudwigVon (talk) - This article is too short to make it a Featured Article, so not the best to represent what Mario Wiki have to offer.

Boo4761 (talk) and Time Turner (talk), if vaguely related concepts is what is preventing you from approving nomination, we can always make Rocket Start a disambiguation page and split up the current contents as Template:Fakelink, Template:Fakelink, and Template:Fakelink, or something to that effect. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:03, 31 May 2016 (EDT)
- It's not a bad idea, but that would make the article(s) even shorter and push it further away from becoming featured. Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- If Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is more closely related to Super Mario Galaxy with its versions of Rocket Starting, Then I can see a split between Rocket Start and Start Dash, which also improves the too short problem situation. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:09, 31 May 2016 (EDT)
- Still, if part of the problem with an article is that it's already too short, making it even shorter isn't going to help. Beyond that, if the article's going to be split, what are you going to feature? Both split articles? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
- We are only nominating the start boosts found in the Mario Kart (series). If Start Dash does become an article instead of a redirect page, that's not up for nomination. I say we {{TPP}} the split ASAP since nominations take more than two weeks. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) (Stats - Contribs) 15:21, 31 May 2016 (EDT)
