Airships (though not the classic Mario kind) feature pretty regularly in ''Donkey Kong''-related games. There's the unnamed zeppelin from ''[[Donkey Kong Land]]'', [[The Flying Krock]], the [[K. "In Super Mario World one of the airships crashed near the entrance to the Valley of Bowser. It is now the Sunken Ghost Ship" Do we know if this part is true or just a theory? --Sml007.5 13:47, 13 August 2006 (EDT)
It says so in the Instruction Manual for Super Mario World. But it never shows it crashing in the game, it only says that in the manual. Paper Jorge 11:11, 13 August 2006
Plus the exit for the level is one of those ? balls from SMB3. If that's not a clue I don't know what is. And there's boxes all over the level, which look like the ones in the airships.
WHERE does it say it in the manuel? *Max scans through manuel* nothing. Max2 (talk)
Airship in SM64
Is the flying ship in Super Mario 64's Rainbow Ride an airship? I sometimes think it is... --YellowYoshi398 19:21, 21 December 2006 (EST)
No, not really it isn't It looks very different. Paper Jorge
Although not an Airship in the classic sense of the word, it is an air ship.
- Yoshi Mastar
It's just a ship with wings
- Pikmin1254
Coin airship
Is there a seperate page for the Coin-filled Airships of SMB3? I can't seem to find it if there is. And this article does not mention it. :O .
- It's at Treasure Ship, I believe that's the official name for it. YELLOWYOSHI398
- Ah. I'll go make a couple redirects then. Thanks! .
Doomship
Now I know that not many people will look here, but shouldn't we give the Doomship from the cartoons it's own page? It is a separate Airship, and not an ordinary one either. It seems to be massive, half the size of Kastle Koopa when they were shown together, and doesn't have the ordinary Airship design, either - the SMB3 official artwork for airships portrayed them as we know them today. The creators of the cartoon must have looked at the artwork, as the Koopalings were shown almost exactly like in the game manual, so must have meant the Doomship to be different. There, that's my thoughts. If there's a balanced opinion about this we could turn this into a proposal. Supershroom + 20 HP! Yeah!I say 'we' because I've never made a proposal before...
- The cartoons' Doomship is based on the in-game SMB3 Airships. The cartoons' Bowser is based on the in-game sprite from Super Mario Bros. and is nothing like the games' Bowser, yet they have the same article. Koopalmier 14:02, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I thought about that, but forgot to mention it. I only really said all that because it appears so many times, it could have a good sized article. Oh, and it's inside is completley original. Supershroom + 20 HP! Yeah!
Remove Edit
I'm probably being really picky about this, but is there a way to remove an edit so it doesn't happen again? Edit in question being the one spammers keep reverting to. (Alex95 (talk) 16:34, 17 February 2016 (EST))
- I can think of something but it wouldn't likely be done for something happening on one page. At most, if it keeps happening, the page can be semi-protected. EDIT: It was just protected, so there it is! --™ The 'Shroom 16:36, 17 February 2016 (EST)
