A Goomnut is an acorn that appears in Paper Mario. Mario can only get them by hitting the Goomnut Tree near Goombario's house with his Hammer. When Mario fights the Goomba King, there will be a Goomnut Tree in the background. The heroic plumber can hit the tree to make a huge Goomnut hit the king and the Red and Blue Goombas.
A Goomnut heals 3 FP and Tayce T. can cook one to make a Nutty Cake. Use it mostly for recipes and the beginning of the game. Remember to use it especially for mixing with Mushrooms for an easy way to get Life Shrooms.
