The Famicom

The Famicom was the Japenese equivalent to the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES, being a combination of the words "family" and "computer." Its controllers were attached and could be stored on the sides of the system. The cartridges were half the size of the NES', and were inserted at the top, instead of through a door in the front.
