A Red Apple is an item in Super Paper Mario. Found on a tree a tree in Overthere Stair, it restores five HP and cures poison. Mario and Co. thought this might have been the taboo fruit to wake up Princess Peach. They fed it to her, and she perked up at once, wondering what was going on. Then the true effect of the apple activated, and Peach became the huge, the same size of the tree, in fact. The effect wore off immediately, and Peach went back to sleep as if nothing happened. This was a clue for later on, however, when the gang met a cloud named Cyrrus who wished to be larger; the gang then gave a Red Apple to Cyrrus to transform into the all-to bigger Super Cyrrus, who allowed them to use him as a gateway to The Overthere.
