Shy Guy's Perplex Express is one of the six boards in the first Wii installment of the Mario Party Series: Mario Party 8. The board is situated inside the actual locomotive cars (so places like the kitchen can be visited), on the cars' rooves and on the railway, in the countryside. The locomotive is driven by a Shy Guy and the train cars themselves are inhabited by Goombas, Koopas and Little Mousers. Magikoopas can also come and move the cars to the back of the train as well. Bandits are also make an appearance when a player lands on a ? Space. There is also a Bowser Train. If the player gets to to Bowser during this event, he will take away one star. There is also a DK Train, and DK will meet you there to give you a star for free.
If a player lands on the single Lucky Space on this level, he/she will be dropped off at a secret station called Payday Waystation. There are a few blue spaces that will give the player 3 coins when they pass them. At the end, there is a Shy Guy that will give the player a Star for free. After that, the player will be dropped off at the start.
