Whomp's Fortress is on the first floor of Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64, and home to Whomp's and the Whomp King. There is a warp in the level, and cannon, and a Metal Cap block. You only need one Power Star to open the door to the painting. After you collect the first Power Star, a tower and a Bullet Bill Launcher appear on top of the forterss.
