Thorny[1] is an enemy in Mario Clash that resembles a Spiny. They walk left and right on the stage, much like Shellcreepers. Mario can defeat them by throwing a shell at them.

One thing that distinguishes them from a regular Spiny is that they have a single row of three retractable spikes on their shells. Their faces also look more like Koopa Troopas, and both their skin and shells are black.
