Template:Minigame-infobox Destruction Duet is a 2-vs-2 player minigame found in Mario Party 2. It costs 200 Coins to purchase it and is the sixth to come up in the Mini-Game Coaster.
Gameplay
In the minigame, teams of two players each race to be the first to reduce a Bowser Statue to rubble by punching, kicking, and performing Hip Drops upon it. The Control Stick is used to move. is pressed to jump, and
to punch. The player can Jump Kick by pressing
in the air. Pressing
while the character is in the air will result in a Hip Drop.
The game has three variations: Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3. The difference between the variations is the size of the statue; Type 1 has the smallest, Type 2 has medium, and Type 3 has the largest. If neither team tears down the statue in 60 seconds, it results in a draw.
