A Belly Blech Worm is a poisonous worm that appears in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. If people ingest one of these worms, they will have their strength, size, and muscle mass dramatically increased, most times to where their clothes would become torn rags. It also causes people's voice to become much deeper. People also become overcome with rage and attack anything in sight.
Cackletta makes Queen Bean eat a Belly Blech Worm. Queen Bean soon becomes infuriated, and her flimsy arms become huge and powerful. This allows Cackletta and Fawful to steal the Beanstar. After escaping, Mario and Luigi defeat an enraged Queen Bean in combat. She did not revert to normal, but becomes unconscious.
Mario and Luigi travel to Chucklehuck Woods to acquire Chuckola Reserve, the only way to get rid of an ingested Belly Blech Worm. After administering the cure to Queen Bean, the ruler returned to normal.
