“What is this (A) I speak of? I assure you that if we are being watched from another dimension... Those beings will understand. But you lack the mustache for full comprehension.”
Bestovius, Super Paper Mario

Bestovious is a sage that appears in Super Paper Mario. He is a powerful sage, the Dimensional Governor of Lineland and the so-called "Flip Wizard". He thinks highly of himself and he is a descendant of the ancients. He is also a distant cousin of Merlon and Merlee. He is responsible for granting Mario the ability to switch between the second and third dimensions. He is found at the beginning of Chapter 1-1.

Bestovius believes that people from another dimension listen to him, and believes that they would wish to know that Mario can flip dimensions with the A button. This is, indeed, breaking the fourth wall, just as Thoreau does later in Chapter 1-2.

Bestovius is Watchitt's cousin. If Mario returns the "You-Know-What" from Watchitt to Bestovius, Bestovius will give Mario the Training Machine (a Nintendo DS) that he had promised Merluvlee. According to Bestovius, he no longer needs it because he got a newer, sleeker model (presumably a Nintendo DS Lite).
