Template:Articleabout Template:Character-infobox Papa is an Arabian man, the secondary character in the Japanese video game Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, as well as Mama's husband. He has a daughter named Lina, a son named Imajin, and twin sons called Poki and Piki. Papa is replaced by Toad in Super Mario Bros. 2.
History
Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic
Papa makes his debut in this game, where he must rescue, with his family, his two twin sons from the malevolent King Mamu (Wart in the western version). Papa is the strongest character in the game, being able throw enemies and items very far, whereas his running or jumping skills are subpar.
Influence on the Mario series
Super Mario Bros. 2
This game is based on Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic. All playable characters are replaced by characters from Super Mario Bros.; in the case of Papa, he is replaced by Toad. Toad, like Papa, could throw enemies and items very far. However, Toad is very good at running.
Appearance
In the official artwork of Papa, he is shown as having brown skin and being slightly fat. He is depicted with a white turban, green clothing, and yellow pointy shoes.
