Not to be confused with Peak-a-boo-boo.

Template:Minigame-infobox Peek-a-Boo is a 1-vs-3 minigame that is found during the events of Mario Party DS. The name comes from a game parents play with their babies.

Introduction

In this minigame, the wanted sign on the top screen shows which type of Boo to capture depending on what the Boo is wearing or its appearance. At the touch screen, a Boo that looks like on the wanted box pops out from under the table. The Boo is noticed and hides back shortly after that. The minigame then begins.

Gameplay

The solo player has a larger screen than the other three players to scan for the Boos, while the other three players acquire a smaller screen that browses slower so they have to work together.

The solo player and the other three players' objective is to catch the Boos until there are no Boos in the area. There is an odd number of Boos that the players have to capture lurking in the area. The minigame takes place in some type of mansion and into a room.

There is one particular obstacle, there are objects in that very room that Boos can go in and hide from players' eyesights for a moment. Another challenge the players will face is that they have to find one of the Boos that has the same appearance as the wanted box is shown. If a player taps the wrong Boo, the Boo comes up into the screen closely blocking off with its face for a quick moment and then the Boo moves fast for a moment as well.

After the last Boo is captured, the players count the Boos that they captured. Whoever gathers the most Boos in the game wins.
