The Kamek Capsule first appeared in Mario Party 5, where it could be thrown to a space on the board, or used on the player for 10 coins. Whoever landed on a space containing the capsule made Kamek appear on his broomstick and used his magic to shuffle everyone's capsules. In Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7, it became an Orb that players could only place on a space (and costs ten coins at the Orb Shop). Opponents that landed on a space contaning the orb summoned Kamek, who used his magic to give control of one of the Character Spaces he/she placed on the board to the owner of space the opponent landed on.
