Gameplay

In the minigame, teams of two players each race to be the first to reduce a Bowser Statue to rubble by punching, kicking, and performing Hip Drops upon it. The Control Stick is used to move. The A Button is pressed to jump, and B to punch. The player can Jump Kick by pressing B in the air. Pressing Z while in the air will result in a massively-daminging Hip Drop.

The Game has three variations: Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3. The difference between the variations is the size of the statue; Type one has the smallest, Type two has medium, and Type 3 has the largest. The quickest way to transform the statues to rubble is by consistently pressing B. The punches may be the weakest, but they are by far the fastest. Using more powerful attacks, such as the Hip Drop or kick, takes too long to set up and realign. The time it takes to perform these manuevers can be used to get in double the amount of punches.
