The Barribad is in enemy in Super Paper Mario. It is encountered in the Whoa Zone. Its name is derived from "barrier", referring to its method of protection, and "bad". It appears similar to a circular Yux. The Barribad projects an impenetrable barrier around itself when Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, or Luigi approaches, and shoots rings of energy at them. However, by flipping to 3D, the player can go around the barrier, switch to 2D, and defeat it.
