Welcome to The 'Shroom Spotlight!

Welcome to The 'Shroom Spotlight! The 'Shroom Spotlight is a group project, kind of like a PipeProject, that covers a game every month. It is run by Marioguy1. Users may sign up for the section by placing their name on the list below and reading The 'Shroom every month to find out which game we are covering.
Spotlight is a monthly 'Shroom section where an article on the wiki is put forward and issues with it are outlined. Readers are then invited to collaborate and help fix those issues. The project was originally founded by Xzelion, and later managed by Marioguy1. Around mid-2011, the project was showing lack of participation and interest, and it was soon abandoned. In March 2012, the project was brought back with YoshiKong as the new manager.

The current game is <i>Super Mario Bros.</i>! The first installment of the classic Mario series, this game changed the style of play of Mario games to the currently-known sidescroller. It also renamed Jumpman to Mario, introduced Peach instead of Pauline and replaced Donkey Kong, as the main antagonist, with the new character, Bowser. This game is the basis of all Mario games that followed.
