There is only one available in each mission. The Gold Bones also count towards the treasure total, if the player finshes without losing all HP, the coin total will be increased by 50G.

Gold Bones is a rare item found exclusively in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. It is the equivalent to a 1-Up Mushroom in the other games, as if Luigi loses all of his HP in the game, and has one Gold Bone, the Polterpup, from the main story, will come heal him in exchange of one of them.
