encounter Shrooblet on the highest mushroom, Baby Mario, not knowing what it is, hammers a strange, unknown item. The Shrooblet then gets angry for impairing him and enages battle.

In battle, Shrooblet has 170 HP and extremely high defense, so high that he will take 2 damage from every used attack . If the player tries to use the hammer on him, he will simply avoid it . The same happens if the player uses Pocket Chomp : The Shrooblet will keep jumping over the Chain Chomp until the attack ends . However, if the player does succesful attacks for 4 turns without failing , the Shrooblet will be impaired and will take more damage from attacks and cannot avoid, but can still attack, however, his speed, defense and attack power are lowered . Shrooblet's attacks are :
 
*Spinning at the player : this is avoided by jumping .
*Jumping on the player : Hammer to counter .
 
When he's impaired, he haves different attacks :
 
*Shooting energy blasts, which are destroyed by hammering . Sometimes, you can knock them back at the impaired Shrooblet to inflict damage .
*Drilling underground and pop out behind the bros, then ram in one of them, wich is avoided by jumping .
 
After a few turns, the Shrooblet gets his old self again and needs to be impaired again.
After a long battle , the Mario Bros eventually defeat Shrooblet and gain acces to the village.

They attack by spinning into Mario or Luigi. The attack can be countered by a jump.
