The Light Prognosticus is the opposite of the Dark Prognosticus in Super Paper Mario. Merlon first mentions the book of prophecies when he believes that Mario is the hero described to "save creation from mysterious relics called 'Pure Hearts'". The book contains steps the hero should take to prevent the end of all worlds. It is located in Merlon's home. It also claims that the "man in green" will determine which Prognosticus fate becomes true.
