Template:Species-infobox Polterpups are Ghost dogs in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. These dogs take various objects of importance that Luigi needs. These range from Keys to Golden Bones. When a Polterpup has taken something, the player must track it down using the Dark Light function. Upon finding the Polterpup, they must suck it up. Polterpups also appear in a specific multiplayer mode called Polterpup Mode. In this mode, the group must find the kennel or locations that the Polterpups are hiding in and acquire them all. Polterpups have 50 HP.
Trivia
- When a Polterpup goes through a wall it leaves an imprint, referencing the Slimer from Ghostbusters.
