Also, I know items ignore defense when Mario uses them, but I haven't been hit with enough enemy items (I always make Ms. Mowz steal them first) to know if they indeed possess the same properties when used on Mario. Again, need confirmation. This is a very new article, so feel free to completely reshape it.

Also, I know items ignore defense when Mario uses them, but I haven't been hit with enough enemy items (I always make Ms. Mowz steal them first) to know if they indeed possess the same properties when used on Mario.
