A Mario Coin is a special type of Coin that is found in the game, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2.
These types of Coins are found on every course in the game. The player can collect these types of Coins that are on the ground. If a player collects a certain number of Mario Coins, he or she will gain a special private kart for the character or gain a special item only for him or her. The player can lose these types of Coins like the ordinary Coins by simply bumping into a wall.
It will be reapparing in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, the upcoming sequel to Mario Kart Arcade GP 2.
