- In the MS-DOS version of Mario is Missing! (pictured), Luigi repeatedly addresses Mario as "M".
- In the Spanish version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Rawk Hawk quote: "¡Los aficionadillos deberían quedarse en casa jugando Super Smash Bros. Melee!" (translate: "The weaklings should stay home playing Super Smash Bros. Melee!") after having defeated The Koopinator.
- In Paper Mario, before the player fights Jr. Troopa in Forever Forest, he erroneously calls himself "Jr. Koopa".
- In Mario Sports Mix, there are some occasions in which the White Mage's tiara isn't visible. This usually happens when she isn't close to the camera.
