Shredder is a mysterious attack used by some bosses, such as Culex and Smithy in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The attack envelops the player's party with a bright pink light and eliminates any beneficial status effects on the team such as ATTACK UP! or DEFENSE UP!. Also it works against boosts of Troopa Pin, Ghost Medal and Quartz Charm.
