Goomba Signs are wooden cutouts in the shape of Goombas that can give the player items if broken. They appear in the 3DS game Super Mario 3D Land. If the 3D mode is not on, they can easily be mistaken for real Goombas. They block Mario's path but can easily be jumped on or broken. There are also 1-Up Mushroom and Warp Pipe cutouts in the game, as well as a Princess Peach sign integral to the plot.
