Template:Articleabout Template:Minigame-infobox Surf's Way Up is a Duel Minigame in Mario Party 8. It also appears in Test for the Best. Its name is a pun on the phrase "Surf's Up".
Introduction
The two players find themselves standing on jetboards, hovering over a short road-like expanse. When they reach the end of the expanse, the players are surfing openly through outer space.
Gameplay
Their goal is to colored circular point goals with different point values, and whoever has the most points at the end wins. However, the player must watch out for the Bowser goals with his emblem shown on them, or else their score will instantly drop to zero.
Ending
The winning player will perform their victory pose, and launch far ahead of the losing player on their jetboard and out of sight as the losing player sulks on their jetboard behind them.
