Mushrooms are a common item found in just about every Mario game invented. Different types of mushrooms have different effects. Even the Toad people are humanoid mushrooms. A list of different kinds of mushrooms is as follows:
- 1-Up Mushroom
- Golden Mushroom
- Invincishroom
- Max Mushroom
- Poison Mushroom
- Reverse Mushroom
- Super Mushroom
- Volt Shroom
In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, a basic Mushroom recovers 30 HP for one party member.
