Pixls are a ally species of Mario and company. Their first, and currently only, appearance is in Super Paper Mario. In this game, the Pixls teach Mario, Peach, and Bowser special moves, like picking up people and throwing them. Nintendo Power volume 214 has stated that some Pixls will serve as explosives or act as a floating platform for Mario or another character to jump on. There are currently several known Pixls, but only ten have official names, which are Thoreau, Tippi, Boomer, Slim, Carrie, Thudley, Fleep, Barry, Dottie, and Cudge.
