A Paddle Wheel is a round platform similar to a Flatbed Ferry appearing in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island DS, New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Some, particularly those in New Super Mario Bros. Wii stricly move left and right, while others travel along paths in the air like a Flatbed Ferry. Either way, the player must walk on it to make it start spinning. Paddle Wheels may occasionally fall into another path.
