There is a page in the Miracle Book that features this minigame, titled, "Say Goomba."
Introduction
The camera first shows the player viewing the area, with all the Goombas exposed. The Goombas then hide as the camera zooms into the player.
Gameplay
The players have ten seconds to take a picture with as many Goombas in it as possible. Players must take a picture of some sort of town with Goombas hiding around it. Between day and night, the only difference is the character that gives extra points; during the day, it is a Shy Guy, and at night, it is a UFO. Players only get one exposure. Goombas are worth one point each, while Shy Guys and UFOs are worth three points each. The player with the most points at the end of the minigame wins
