Chad is a playable character in the game Mario Tennis: Power Tour for the Game Boy Advance. He is one of the many opponents to Clay and Ace. Chad is also one of several human characters created exclusively for the Mario Tennis series. He is a power-type character. Chad's doubles partner is Mason. Both of them are ranked third in the Junior Class. Initially he's supportive of Mason's claims of having "phenom powers" until seeing first hand what true tennis "phenoms" are (Clay and Ace), slowly switching to trying to bring Mason back down to Earth.
