A Smolderin' Stu is a sub-species of Strollin' Stu that, obviously, is on fire. This enemy can be destroyed easily by a well-aimed squirt of water from FLUDD. Smolderin' Stus only appear in Super Mario Sunshine. Both it and the normal Strollin' Stus appear in the King Boo fight.
Smolderin' Stu's name is also seen as one of the default high scores in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
