The Scatter Dive is Dry Bones' close play move in Mario Super Sluggers. It only happens when the ball and Dry Bones reach the base at the same time, then the player must press the correct button. If the button is pressed first he: He breaks apart while dodging the baseman/basewoman, and rebuilds himself on the base. After rebuilding himself he strikes a pose celebrating the fact he is safe. This causes no harm whatsoever to the baseman/basewoman.
