Template:Minigame-infobox Upward Mobility is a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party 9. Its name is a play on the term, "Upward Mobility".

Introduction

The camera shows the goal cloud. Then, it goes down to the ground, where the Captain is, as it splits into four screens.

Gameplay

The players must jump on the White-Green Checkered Blocks and Used Blocks to reach on the goal, that is a cloud with a portal-like rainbow. For most of the game, the checkered blocks appear in pairs; however, toward the end, there are some that appear singularly. The player who reaches this goal first wins.

To achieve the bonus objective in Time Attack mode, the player must not jump on the same block twice.
